In the morning of May 31, Quanzhou Municipal Party Secretary Zheng Xincong came to FREP for research. FREP chairman and president Gu Yuefeng, Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Parut Chatikavanij accompanied Party Secretary Zheng Xincong and his delegation to make the research.

In the central control room of the new plant area, Party Secretary Zheng Xincong learnt that FREP has created the best profits in its history this year, and he expressed congratulations to FREP on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government

Party Secretary Zheng Xincong pointed out that the petrochemical industry is an important pillar industry of Quanzhou City, and FREP is the lead and backbone of Quanzhou petrochemical industry cluster. He said, the enterprises in Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park relied on FREP to deeply tap and utilize the supporting industrial resources, achieved to be users for each other and cultivated the common market through extending the upstream and downstream industrial chains and adjusting the industrial structure, and this has improved their management level and overall competitiveness.

He hoped that FREP can cooperate with Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Company by complementing each other’s advantages and making win-win development to further promote the construction of Quangang and Quanhui petrochemical industrial parks, so as to make greater contributions to expanding the petrochemical industrial cluster and developing Quanzhou’s economy.

He requested that FREP should push forward the implementation of the construction project package of the safety control area of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park. Currently, we should make scientific and accurate planning in accordance with the latest safety, health and environmental standards of the State, maintain the high pressure situation of cracking down on “two violations”, and strictly supervise and control over enterprise’s facilities without waiting or relying on others. We should properly use the professional platform of the industrial park, accelerate the infrastructure construction and the construction of urban domestic supporting facilities, energetically push forward the progress of the projects under construction and the implementation of the projects negotiated, and ensure providing good services for enterprise construction and development, thus create a new economic growth pole for Quangzhou’s development.

President Gu Yuefeng, on behalf of OOP, expressed thanks to Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government for their help and support to FREP. He said, FREP will strictly abide by and execute the national laws and regulations and continuously strengthen the improvement of HSE performance; while enhancing safe and smooth operation, we will raise the fine management level and improve the profit to make contributions to Quanzhou’s economic development. He expressed, FREP will have a foothold on Quanzhou, pay attention to Quanzhou’s development, positively fulfill its social responsibility, devote itself to becoming “excellent enterprise citizen” and “good neighbor” of the community, continuously promote project construction, actively introduce cutting-edge projects, and strive to benefit Quanzhou and repay the society.

Party Secretary Zheng Xincong also had cordial communications with management personnel of Saudi Aramco in good mood. He said, Quanzhou is the starting point of the maritime silk road and has a long-standing and well-established friendly history with Saudi Arabia. He wished the management personnel of Saudi Aramco to work smoothly and have a happy life in Quanzhou, and play a role of link for Sino-Saudi friendship and make contributions to the friendly cooperation.
