The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has launched a new education program in 2016 named “Study the Party Constitution and Party Regulations, Study its Speech Series, and Be a Qualified Party Member” (hereinafter referred to as “Two Studies, One Action” education program).

In order to study the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of CCP, the leading Party group of Sinopec and the provincial Party committee of Fujian Province on the “Two Studies, One Action” education program, the Company held a meeting to mobilize and deploy the “Two Studies, One Action” education program in the afternoon of May 6, and over one hundred people attended the meeting, including about 100 members of the party committee, general party branches of grass-roots level, branch secretaries and some representatives of party members.

Chen Xiaobo, secretary of the party committee of the Company, made a speech to mobilize the program, in which, he required to arrange and deploy the “Two Studies, One Action” education program by focusing on three aspects, i.e. the sufficient realization of the significance of carrying out the program, the steady implementation of the program, and the realization of substantial results in implementing the program.

Chen Xiaobo emphasized that, the implementation of the program is an important practice to enhance the education and management of party members as stated in the Party Constitution, an all party member oriented education program within the CCP, an important measure to promote the education within the CCP from “a few key members” to extensive party members and from centralized education to frequent education, and an important deployment to strengthen the ideological and political construction of the CCP.

Implementing the “Two Studies, One Action” education program is a major political task at present. Party organizations at all levels shall carefully study and implement the spirit of the important instructions of the General Secretary of the CCP, Xi Jinping, and the deployment made by the central government and the party committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, accurately master the requirements of the Company’s implementation program, well plan and deploy, and carefully organize and promote the program, to ensure a high-standard beginning, a high-quality implementation and a high-efficiency operation of the education program. Practically implement the entity responsibilities; pay close attention to hierarchical and differentiated guidance; give play to the leading role of leaders; enhance the supervision on implementation; adhere to the principle of placing equal emphasis on both material progress and ethical cultural progress, and resolutely prevent the “double skin” phenomenon.

Member of the party committee, the Chairman of the Board and the President of the Company, Gu Yuefeng, hosted the meeting, and put forward requirements on implementing the meeting spirit. He emphasized that party members shall intensively understand, quickly deliver and practically unify the thinking and action onto the spirit of the “Two Studies, One Action” education program mobilization and deployment meeting; study in-depth, carefully deploy and well plan all special, practical and effective “operational exercises” to ensure the education program is carried out in a steady and progressive way; enhance the publicity, create the atmosphere, and explore some good practices, experiences and examples; promote the education program steadily, and drive for results, to promote the central work and the business development.

It’s required in the meeting that the Company’s party organizations at all levels shall, taking the implementation of the “Two Studies, One Action” education program as an opportunity, and in combination with the themed practical activities for party construction ‘party members to take the lead in innovation and profit growth’ and ‘optimizing operation for in-depth exploration of potentials, and making contributions to continuous profit growth’, guide all party members, especially leading Party cadres, to stimulate the spirit and show new deeds, lead all employees to maintain a high-spirited energy, promote those strict, detailed and practical fine traditions, and strive for taking the lead in innovation, profit growth and quality and efficiency improvement, to make new contributions to and create achievements in comprehensively completing annual targets and achieving a good beginning of the Company’s “13^th five-year plan”.
