The Fourth Session of Second Workers' Congress and Labor Union Representative Assembly Kicked Off
On the afternoon of April 22nd, the fourth session of the second Workers’ Congress and Labor Union Representative Assembly was kicked off in the conference room of the exhibition hall. Company management Gu Yuefeng, Chen Xiaobo and Yang Hongbin, and 116 employee representatives from various departments of the Company attended the meeting.
Lei Xueqing, member of the standing committee of the labor union and general manager of HR & Administrative Department conveyed at the meeting the spirit of 2015 annual work conference and 2016 Party Committee work conference of the Company.
Six systems, including Guidelines for Zero Tolerance Policy, Identification and Treatment Management Standard of Work-related Injury of Employees, Apprenticeship Administration Procedure, Process for Reporting and Handling Violation, Off-Job Personnel Management Process and Performance Appraisal Procedure, as well as the Collective Contract for Salary were deliberated and confirmed at the meeting.
Gu Yuefeng, Chairman and President of the Company, and Yang Hongbin, Chairman of labor union jointly concluded the Collective Contract for Salary on behalf of the Company and the employees respectively.
Yang Hongbin delivered a work report titled Giving Play to Functions, Leading in Innovation, Working Hard Together to Create New Achievements for the Company. In the report, he reviewed the key works completed in 2015 and planned the work of labor union in 2016. He pointed out the main works in 2016: first, enhance ideological education to encourage employees at all levels to engage in the great course of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round manner; second, safeguard the legal interests of employees and proactively push forward and improve a harmonious labor relationship; third, improve the quality of employees so as to make remarkable achievements while realizing the target and mission of the 13th Five-Year Plan; and fourth, intensify self-construction to maintain and make the labor union more political, advanced and public accessible.
Chen Xiaobo, secretary of the Party Committee, emphasized in his speech that we shall unify our thought and deepen our understanding to reinforce our sense of responsibility and pressure for doing well the work this year; bring our advantages into full play and work in concert to make new progress in the improvement of quality and efficiency and continuous innovation; and safeguard the legal interests of employees and manage to build a happy enterprise.
President Gu Yuefeng expressed three expectations in his speech: first, fully mobilize all employees to carry out a variety of activities with respect to production and operation of the Company and encourage employees to offer advices for improving quality and efficiency of the Company; second, promote and implement company culture, let company culture take root and lay a solid ideological and cultural foundation for the Company to reach a new level of development; and third, make more efforts to tap potential and improve profit, motivate employee’s enthusiasm in making achievements by all means, so as to come up with more ideas and make more contributions to the Company in improving quality/efficiency and developing innovatively.
Liu Cuixia, member of the standing committee of the labor union and director of Female Worker Committee, reported the use of labor union expenditures in 2015.
Yang Faxin, member of the standing committee of the labor union and deputy general manager of Technology & Planning Department, read out the proposal Strengthening Conviction for Triumph, Increasing the Awareness of Responsibility and Creating New Achievements during the Improvement of Quality and Efficiency and Continuous Innovation.
