FREP labor contest kick-off ceremony for equipment reliability was convened at meeting room 418 in the office building of the plant area on April 13^th, at which FREP management Yang Hongbin and Hu Hongye were present. The ceremony was chaired by Zhao Tianxing, general manager of Process Department.

FREP development of labor contest campaign for equipment reliability is to further deepen the implementation of FREP Annual Work Conference spirit, intensify employees’ sense of responsibility in equipment management, mobilize employees’ enthusiasm and creativity in equipment management, improve equipment reliability, ensure accomplishment of FREP annual objectives and tasks and contribute to the improvement of quality and efficiency of the Company. 

Yang Hongbin, FREP Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union addressed at the kick-off ceremony. He pointed out that FREP development of labor contest for reliability was not only an important means for FREP to enhance three-foundation activity (grass-roots building, basic work and basic skills training) and transform the work style, but also a significant carrier of “two learnings and one practice” activity, so he wished that all business teams participating in the contest attach great importance to it. He raised four requirements for the contest: first, intensify organizational leadership. At company level, seize critical nodes and timely solve problems occurred in the contest; At business team level, main leader shall take the command in person and members of the leadership team shall be assigned to every point. At the team/shift level, everyone shall take his/her initiatives to ensure that contest can be practically carried out; Second, strictly and practically perform the completion and constantly strive for perfection. All business teams participating in the contest shall summarize the experience in a timely manner, striving to build the contest into an excellent project and thusly pushing forward FREP equipment management activity to a new step. Third, be innovative. All business teams participating in the contest shall create vivid experience with collective wisdom and concerted efforts. Forth, go all out to provide support. FREP trade union and office of party committee and union shall spare no efforts to support the contest and provide solid material guarantee to the contest. 

Project General Manager Hu Hongye emphasized that all business teams participating in the contest should bring back to the essentials of equipment management, strengthen equipment maintenance and reduce unplanned shutdown. He hoped that the Mechanical Department should intensify professional instructions to all business teams participating in the contest; All business teams participating in the contest should consider large compressor set as the party member’s responsible area and the manager of each business team participating in the contest should take the command in person. 

Zhuang Xiaodong, General Manager of Mechanical Department and deputy team lead of the contest leading group made overall work arrangement for the labor contest and Li Hongwu, Party Affairs Manager of the Party Committee and Union made remarks about the party member’s responsible area in the contest at the kick-off ceremony.
