The Company’s Labor Union held female employee fun game activities in celebration of March 8^th in Quanzhou Strait Stadium on March 8. Over 200 people, including female members of grassroots organizations, female employee representatives and heads for grassroots labor unions took part in the activities.

There were 4 fun games including “alignment in footsteps”, “rolling wheels”, “put your strength in one direction” and “mountain stream”. These games were of high engagement, great fun and entertainment. 21 representative teams composed of female staff from various departments and teams of the Company took part in the games and showed their heroic bearing respectively.

 “One, two, one two…” with the referee’s whistle going off, players shouted slogans in chorus when putting their hands on each other’s shoulders, went all out to align the movement of their waists and legs and dashed towards the finishing line in concert. The competitions between teams, the teamwork between team members or the faults they committed all lighted up the faces of female spectators, the “rolling wheels” event in particular, where players each should step on a narrow piece of cloth in an extremely careful manner with their hand in hand; because without good teamwork and balance, the team will stagger east and west and the tempo of the team as a whole will be affected. The scene of games was full of joy, with some cheering for the players, some stamping feet, and others jumping. It was teeming with happy laughter and cheerful voices. Female employees celebrated their special day in delight.

One participant female employee told the reporter that they barely took part in such games before and they felt very happy and exciting to participate this time; what’s more, they won some prize, their sweat paid off and the relationship between colleagues was cemented; they would like to be more active in such activities in the future.

After intense competition, Finance Department and Audit Committee Office Joint Team, HSE Fire Brigade Team and Mechanical Maintenance Team won the top three prizes respectively. The activities fully displayed the positive, optimistic, happy and energetic mental state of female employees, and further improved female staff’s team spirit and the exchanges and communications among different teams.

Yang Hongbin, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of Discipline Commission and Chairman of Labor Union of the Company, also presented at the venue of activities to boost the morale of the players and presented awards to winners of 2015 Model Female Posts, Model Female Workers and Civilized and Harmonious Families. 

It is reported that the Company Labor Union held a series of “March 8^th” activities in honor of “March 8^th” International Working Women’s Day so that female staff could spend a harmonious, joyful, sweet and unforgettable Day. The activities helped swap feelings, boosted friendship, relaxed both bodies and minds, uplifted their soul and further motivated female staff to continue to carry forward the spirit of “self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement”, so that they will dedicate to work in a better state and create new brilliance for the Company’s development.
