The Company’s Party Committee held 2016 work conference in Fulian Building on the morning of Feb. 23. Nearly 150 people attended the meeting, including the Company’s management, secretaries of grassroots (general) Party branches, administrative heads of various units and some Party member representatives.

Mr. Chen Xiaobo, the Company Party Secretary, presented a work report titled “Run the Party Strictly, Strengthen Building of Party Conduct, Practically Push Forward Building of an Innovative, Developing, Harmonious, Happy and New Fulian”, where he reviewed and summarized the work of Party Committee in 2015, arranged and deployed the general requirements and key work for the Party Committee in 2016. First, we shall perform the duty of running and managing the Party strictly and enhance our consciousness to work for the Party. Second, we shall change our mindset, improve quality and constantly strengthen building of leadership and carder team. Third, we shall focus on the grassroots Party organization and lay a sound foundation by standardizing and innovating new grassroots Party building work continuously. Fourth, we shall make clear discipline, cement supervision and pragmatically promote Party work style building and anti-corruption efforts. Fifth, we shall set up a good image, gather strength and push the publicity of ideology to a new stage. Sixth, we shall forge high quality and start building a new, harmonious and happy Fulian.

At the meeting, three grassroots Party organizations including Process Department Aromatics BT Party Branch and T&P Process Engineering Party Branch etc. shared their experience in grassroots Party building and spiritual civilization building. The Company Party Committee presented Letter of Responsibility for Targets and Tasks to grassroots general Party branches and Party branches directly under the Company Party Committee.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, member of the Company Party Committee, Chairman and President, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized that first, we shall focus on study and implementation of the meeting’s spirit, combine it with implementation of the spirit of the Company’s annual work conference and direct management personnel and employees to unite their thinking and actions to the spirit of the meeting; second, practically organize work implementation, establish a scientific, rational and effective work responsibility system, promote execution and safeguard accomplishments by the responsibility system; third, tighten up production safety, robustly carry forward the prudent, careful and down-to-earth work style, persistently improve safety work level and lay a solid foundation for accomplishment of all the targets and tasks of this year.

On that very afternoon, the Company Party Committee held a meeting on 2016 Party conduct building and anti-corruption work.

Mr. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, on behalf of the Company Discipline Inspection Commission, made a work report titled “Insist in Running the Party Strictly, Focus on Supervision and Discipline Enforcement Accountability, Push Forward Party Conduct Building and Anti-corruption Work in a Profound Way”, where he reviewed 2015 work achievements and came up with 2016 tasks in Party work style building and anti-corruption. First, further tighten discipline of the Party and enforce discipline and supervision rigorously; Second, further honor the responsibility in Party management and enhance accountability; Third, enforce the Eight Regulations issued by the Central Government relentlessly and correct the “Four Conducts” in a deep-going way; Fourth, further resolve both symptoms and root causes simultaneously and pay attention to publicity, education and system building; Fifth, underline restriction by supervision and deepen efforts in efficiency supervision and business transparency; Sixth, lay emphasis on disciplinary audit and take stern actions against illegal and illegitimate cases; Seventh, focus on main responsibility for main business and intensify building of discipline supervision team.

At the meeting, Mr. Chen Xiaobo, Secretary of the Company Party Committee, signed the Statement of Responsibility for Construction of Clean and Honest Party with all grassroots general Party branches and Party branches directly under the Company Party Committee.

Two grassroots Party organizations including M&S Department Party Branch shared their experience and practices in efficiency supervision project and enforcement of the Central Government’s Eight Regulations.

Party Secretary Mr. Chen Xiaobo raised three requirements on Party conduct building and anti-corruption work: First, honor the “Two Responsibilities” by running the Party strictly in a holistic way with all strength; Second, rigorously enforce the Central Government’s Eight Regulations and continue to do a good job in Party conduct building; Third, practically put into practice the spirit of the meeting and promote the Company’s Party conduct building and anti-corruption work.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, member of the Company Party Committee, Chairman and President, chaired the meeting and stressed three comments: First, tighten the political discipline/ rules of the Party; second, strictly implement the “Two Responsibilities” for construction of a clean and honest Party; third, enforce the Central Government’s Eight Regulations constantly.
