The Company held the 2015 Annual Work Conference in Quanzhou Office Building on Feb. 19 to summarize the work accomplished in 2015, analyze domestic and international situations and challenges, make full deployment of 2016 objectives and tasks, reach alignment on the action plans and priorities of next step, engage all employees in making joint efforts to complete annual objectives and tasks with clear mindset and strong commitment to job responsibility, thus to make a good start at the opening of the 13^th Five-year Plan period and create a sound foundation for building a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness

Company management including Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Mr. Chen Xiaobo, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Parut Chatikavanij, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Liu Yanchang and Mr. Hu Hongye were present at the meeting. FREP department GMs and DGMs, PMG heads, BTMs and employee representatives attended the meeting.

At the meeting, FREP Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng presented  a work report titled “New Start, New Challenge, New Journey”, where he summarized FREP 2015 performance and analyzed 2015 highlights/ gaps. In the face of 2016 challenges, he pointed out that the challenges and risks caused by external environment changes are increasing, and the urgency and arduous of improving development quality and profit are becoming more prominent. He emphasized that when we rise to challenges and face up to difficulties, we should also see the favorable factors and keep unwavering confidence. The work report also deployed the targets, tasks and action plans in 2016. He reinforced six points including continuously improve HSE performance, focus on reliability, work on further optimization and improvement, reduce cost and expenses, explore the market and strengthen people management.

At the meeting, three cross-functional working groups, including the Safety Production Standardization Facilitation Work Group, the Planning and Construction Coordination Group and the Process Improvement Work Group were awarded as “Excellent Groups”. Ten employees were awarded as “Top 10 Employees” including Chen Junhui, Chen Pingping, Chen Kunbao, Xu Songchen, Ding Xiaowei, Wu Yongsheng, Liang Shengyu, Liu Dan, Xue Wen and Xiao Wanyuan. Zhang Ping won the title of “Best Choice”. Five employees including Tan Weilin, Lan Wenjun, Zhuang Canzhong, Lin Fuming and Tang Yanxia won the “Top 10 Employees Nominees”.

The meeting also arranged breakout discussions to command a full understanding of the work report, including 2015 accomplishments and gaps, 2016 situations and challenges, reach consensus on 2016 Company targets, tasks, key focus areas, priorities and measures for improving quality and profit, further enhanced the sense of responsibility and urgency for profit improvement so that the organization would be dedicated to and contribute to the completion of annual targets.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Vice Presidents Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Mr. Parut Chatikavanij delivered closing comments respectively. The meeting finished all the agendas and concluded successfully on the afternoon of that very day. (Xiao Wanyuan)
