On the morning of January 22, 2016, a delegation from Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co. led by Mr. Zhang Qiang, President & Party Secretary, Mr. Song Jifeng, the Financial Director, Mr.Hu Fulei, HSE Director, and Mr. Du Yongzhi, Vice President, together with the chiefs in charge of production, technology, equipment, supply and marketing etc. of the Company paid a peer visit to FREP. FREP’s leaders Chairman & President Gu Yuefeng, Vice President Mr. Yousuf, Operation General Manager Liu Yanchang etc. had a cordial meeting with Mr. Zhang Qiang and his entourage, and both parties held in-depth communications on such subjects as further deepening mutual benefits and win-win cooperation among petrochemical enterprises etc.

First of all, President Gu Yuefeng expressed his warm welcome to the delegation led by President Zhang Qiang of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Company. He said that since the establishment of the cooperation and exchange mechanism between FREP and Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., both parties have strengthened their cooperation in the aspect of operation, technology, equipment, talent, management etc. through arranging reciprocal visits, talks or special meetings on regular or irregular basis, which helped complement each other’s advantages and achieve good results. Both parties came to a consensus that, the current backdrop of China’s economy stepping into the “New Normal” and mounting downward economic pressure, made it even reasonable to “Group Up” to survive the hard time, and to exploit each other’s advantages and integrate resources in a positive manner, as well as to quicken cooperation process. Both parties shall cope with the market challenges and realize mutual benefit and win-win development together.

Vice President Yousuf said that the two enterprises are good neighbors just like one family and should help each other to overcome difficulties and deepen their cooperation to a broader extent in the aspect of production, planning, procurement and etc., so as to seek win-win development.

President Zhang Qiang expressed his sincere thanks to FREP’s great assistance and supports to Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co. in the aspect of spare parts and wharf berthing, etc. He said, both enterprises were located in Quanzhou and were good neighbors, and should strengthen further communications in the aspect of human resources, market supply assurance, contractor management, and relationship with government, etc. on the basis of the existing cooperation; especially, they should broaden the cooperation in the field of energy, chemical and etc., and should establish routinized liaison mechanism to promote their communication and cooperation.

At the meeting, representatives of both parties expressed their opinions freely and contributed suggestions actively for coping with the severe market situation in the current period.Full of confidence in the future development, both parties wished to further enhance their communication and exchange, and to have in-depth exploration for the opportunity of cooperation and development that would propel more powerfully their cooperation to a new height and a broader extent, and open up a new chapter for cooperation between FREP and Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co..
