Mr. Kang Tao, the Mayor of Quanzhou and his delegation visited FREP for Spring Festival greetings on the afternoon of Feb. 2. Mr. Gu Yuefeng, FREP Chairman and President, Mr. Wu Liyuan, Quangang District Governor accompanied the visit.

In the new plant CCR, getting to know that some employees need to stay on post instead of gathering with their families during the Spring Festival, Mayor Kang Tao expressed his New Year wishes to FREP employees who would stay on operation posts. On behalf of Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, he recognized and congratulated FREP for 2015 good performance delivered under the hard economic environment. He also pointed out that petrochemical industry is a key pillar industry of Quanzhou City, and FREP is the leading company of Quanzhou petrochemical industry cluster. He expected FREP to keep the stability and momentum of development and make greater contributions to the local economic growth in the new year. He required relevant departments under direct leadership of the municipal government, and communist party committee and government where the projects are located to fully guarantee and serve petrochemical projects’ construction and facilitate successful implementation of the projects.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng expressed, on behalf of OOP, thanks to the leaders of Quanzhou Municipal Government and Quangang District Government for visiting FREP and briefly introduced the overall production and operation of FREP in 2015. He said that FREP was continuously improving HSE performance; in the midst of efforts in safe and stable operation, the Company was also improving delicacy management and increasing profit. He expressed that the Company created the best economic results in 2015 and contributed to economic development of Quanzhou City. FREP strictly implement the requirements of the new Safety Production Law and Environmental Protection Law, pushed forward gasoline quality upgrading, set a foothold in Quanzhou, kept eyes on the development of Quanzhou, positively honored its social responsibilities, committed to becoming an “Excellent Corporate Resident” and “Good Neighbor” of the communities, endeavored to benefit Quanzhou and pay back to the society.
