FREP Trade Union Held Summary and Commendation Meeting for Lab Technician Skill Competition
FREP Trade Union held “Summary and Commendation Meeting for 2015 Lab Technician Skill Competition” on the afternoon of Dec. 10. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary to Discipline Inspection Commission and Trade Union Chairman of the Company, was present at the meeting and addressed the audience. He Qingdong, Vice Chairman of Trade Union and Director of PC&UO, Lei Xueqing, General manager of HR&A Department, Cai Xiping, Deputy General Manager of T&P Department, and some employees of Product Quality Center of the Company were present at the meeting.
Lin Minliang, Manager of Product Quality Center, made brief summary of the Lab Technician Competition. It started from Oct. 15. After nearly 50 days of tense competition, the first, second and third prizes for individuals and groups stood out, marking the successful completion of the competition. The Competition is another experience and showcase of the skill level of Lab technicians, which motivated the initiative and enthusiasm of employees, young employees in particular, for study of skill and business. Product Quality Center will take the Competition as an opportunity and conduct job rotation, skill training, competency appraisal and the likes of business competence improvement in a continuous way, so as to constantly improve the overall business and technical skills of Lab technicians and forge a team of Lab employees who have solid foundation of basic theoretical knowledge, excellent practical operation skill and dedication to work.
FREP Trade Union commended advanced groups and excellent individuals out of the activity and rewarded three shift teams – Lab analysis Day Shift, Lab analysis Shift-1 and Lab analysis Shift-3 as the “Excellent Shift Teams” of the Lab Technician Skill Competition, and 6 individuals – Zhuang Wenmei, Zhu Yanping, Tang Xiaoyan, Heng Jinying, Su Jun and Wei Minghui as the “Excellent Individuals” of the Lab Technician Skill Competition.
Chairman Yang Hongbin delivered the closing speech. First of all, he, on behalf of FREP Trade Union and the Competition Organizing Committee, congratulated the excellent shift teams and individuals who won the prizes, and raised expectations. He hoped employees would learn from each other by exchanging views and experiences, carry forward the fine tradition of petrochemical industry, put into practice “Every Drip of Oil Is Commitment”, keep the passion for engagement and energetically hold labor competitions.
