On January 29th, FREP held 2010 Management Working Conference. President Mr. Lu Dong, FREP Vice President Mr. Scott J. Sullivan and Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail, Operation GM Mr. Zhao Liping, Mr. Wu Wenxin - Fujian Refining & Ethylene Project General Manager, and Mr. Han Baolin, Chairman of FREP Union were present at the Conference. FREP department general managers, deputy general managers, supervisors or above, BT managers and deputy managers, directors and deputy directors of IPMT Departments, and large project managers also attended the Conference.

President Mr. Lu Dong delivered a speech titled Enhance Management, Improve Benefits and Strive for Building a Large-scale Petrochemical Enterprise with Sustainable Competitiveness. “Year 2009 was a milestone in the development history of FREP. Under the strong support of the shareholders and wise leadership of the BOD, all the employees worked solidly and diligently, having realized the overall objective of Fujian Integrated Refining & Ethylene Project construction and one-time startup successfully. As the Project had been put into commercial operation, FREP had entered into a new stage of operation management in an all-round way. The production operation had been on a right track, and we had turned the losses into gains with new progress made in every aspect” said Mr. Lu Dong.

Mr. Lu Dong stressed that every effort should be made to improve HSE performance, advance operation optimization in each aspect, carry out “Management Effectiveness Year” activities, improve business control level in an all-round way, further follow up the development strategy for the next step, consistently strengthen workforce development and strive to create a harmonious and stable internal/external environment.

Vice President Mr. Scott J. Sullivan and Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail respectively presented the reports on the work in their charge; Operation GM Mr. Zhao Liping reported 2009 Startup Plan and Production Operation Management; PGM Mr. Wu Wenxin presented a report on Fujian Refining & Ethylene Project construction; Mr. Han Baolin, Chairman of FREP Union reported the Union work.

General Managers of FREP functional departments also delivered speeches on work in their respective charge.
