Year 2009 was a milestone in the development history of FREP. Through three-year unremitting efforts of all personnel involved in construction, Fujian Integrated Refining & Ethylene Joint Venture Project was successfully built and formally put into commercial operation, symbolizing a totally new stage of FREP development. Today, we are delighted to witness Fujian Integrated Refining & Ethylene Project – the largest investment project ever in China with a one–time overall planning and implementation, standing proudly in the southeast coastal region of Fujian Province. FREP—a joint venture combined the advantages of Exxon Mobil, Saudi Aramco, Sinopec and Fujian Province, fully reflects a perfect cultural blending of China, America and Saudi Arabia.
Year 2010 is the starting point for FREP to fully enter the stage of operational management. We will keep up and carry forward the spirit of solidarity, cooperation and hard work to strengthen safety & stability of clean production and project operation as well as further leverage Shareholders’ advantages with respect to technology, management, resources and market, ensuring stable operation and sound management of the refining and petrochemical units, and living up to expectations of the leaders at all level, all Shareholders and friends from all walks of life by generating project investment benefit as early as possible.
