The summer heat is scorching and the sun is blazing, the heat wave is sweeping through Quanzhou with continuous high temperature days. In spite of the increasing high temperature impact on the work, frontline employees of the company stick to their posts and strive hard to complete the production tasks in high quality.

The intense heat and high temperature not only tested the employees who working hard in the frontline, but also called attention and care of the company management. In the morning of August 6, company management Gu Yuefeng, Yang Hongbin and Zhao Tianxing visited the company employees in two teams under the scorching sun and intense heat, and delivered heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies to the employees.

Company management visited Electrical Operation Monitoring Center, PO field operator room, Oefin field operator room, new CCR, Engineer Building and Terminal CCR to deliver heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies to the hardworking employees. They thanked everyone for working on their posts despite the intense heat of summer for stable and safe production.

In Electrical Operation Monitoring Center, Gu Yuefeng asked about the electrical operation situation in summer and stressed that lightning protection in summer should be strengthened to ensure smooth operation of the units.

In PO field operator room, company management including Gu Yuefeng, Zhao Tianxing and others delivered the greeting gifts to the employees, and encouraged them to pay attention to heatstroke prevention, and inquired about the startup of Small PP unit in detail. Gu Yuefeng stressed that chemical products were an important profit growth point of the company, as the back end of the downstream industrial chain of chemical units in the company, PO units should strengthen smooth operation and make contributions to profit improvement of the company.

In new CCR, company management including Gu Yuefeng, Zhao Tianxing and others delivered heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies, thanked the employees for their dedication and encouraged people to pay attention to safety in hot weather especially during rounds inspection. Gu Yuefeng talked with the employees of Fuels-1 BT, Utilities BT, Oefin BT and PO BT, he encouraged everyone to pay attention to heatstroke prevention, take good care of their health, and required BTs to make good arrangement on working time, prevent working in high-temperature periods and provide a good working environment for the employees.

In front of the console of Fuels-1 BT, Gu Yuefeng and Zhao Tianxing talked with Sun Xinquan, the console operator and senior technician of HCU, encouraged him to play the new role of “apprentice training” and take a lead in “teaching, helping and coaching”, coach youth employees, especially the new graduates joined the company in recent years, who have knowledge but lack of field operation experience, as a senior technician in production frontline, should properly play the function of “apprentice training”.

At Product Quality Center, machining workshop, Offsites CCR, old CCR, Fire Brigade and EOEG site, Yang Hongbin extended cordial greetings to frontline employees who were working hard in high temperature weather and offered them greeting gifts, he specifically emphasized safety for people working in high temperature and safeguarding production, and encouraged them to prevent fatigue and pay attention to heatstroke prevention.

  In EOEG CCR, Yang Hongbin asked in detail about the progress of the BT’s production optimization and innovation work, when he learned that some youth employees had qualified for more than two posts, he encouraged them to take initiatives, be down-to-earth and make continuous efforts on study, and integrate individual development into high-quality development of the company. He also required the responsible persons of the BT to care for youth employees and create a good growth environment for them.

Facing the severe test of high temperature, frontline employees stick to their posts and contribute to the company's development with full enthusiasm. Company management made asked in detail about the production, people and safety protection measures, cared about the employees’ life, work, time arrangement, etc., and instructed BTs to secure heatstroke prevention, scientifically arrange work and rest time, plan the site work in the morning or evening as much as possible, avoid working at the highest temperature time period, and arrange heatstroke prevention medicines, cooling supplies on site.

Company management required all departments and BTs to attach great importance to production safety in summer, ensure smooth and safe progress of all work in high temperature summer. They commented that under current economic downward pressure, the company's business situation was not optimistic, and the current task was arduous, we shall attach great importance to the annual targets of the company, always pay attention to safety production, and work hard on innovation and profit improvement, and take measures to ensure completion of annual tasks.
