On June 20th, the day following theParty Committee’s “Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” theme education mobilization meeting, Company Party secretary and chairman Mr. Gu YuefengvisitedOlefin BT for safety observation and field research.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng reviewed the rectification log for management safety observation, and inquired in detail about the progress and follow-up of potential hazards rectification. Subsequently, he observed the lifting operation, work at height, hot work, etc. at SC site, and inspected the operation of clean/ waste water treatment, soil treatment andinter-stage heat exchangersof the pygas compressor. In combination with the progress of site safety improvement, Mr. Gu Yuefeng affirmed Olefin BT’s full use of the high-risk operation checklist for operation review and observation. And expected that everyone would keep using the “booklet” to strictly control safety.

After site safety observation, Mr. Gu Yuefeng held a research meetingwith thebusiness team, listened to the report on Olefin BT’s work, shared the experience of the Company leadership training and put forward four requirements and expectations tobusiness team management.

First, to stand high political position, conscientiously follow the unified arrangement of the education mobilization meeting “Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”, effectively play the role of the Party branch, carry out work related to the theme education, and promote deep integration of Party building and BT business, to ensure smooth completion of the annual production tasks.

Second, to attach great importance to safety and environmental protection. It was necessary to perform site potential hazardsidentification, proactively identify and removepotential hazards of unit operation, remove potential hazards in the bud, manage potential hazards list and ensure stable and optimal operation of the unit at full load.

Third, tostrengthen ideological and political building. He affirmed the work on questionnaire survey to young employees’ thoughts, and expected the business teamtolead the youth group, strengthen ideological education guidance, keep performing growth and development programs for young employees, play the role of model and demonstration, and promote the righteousness toform a goodlearning atmosphere.

Fourth,tocare about employees’ work and life, pay close attention to young employees’ conditions and provide guidance as needed, to create a favorable workplace and environment for employees.
