On June 19^th, the Company held the Education Mobilization Meeting themed on“remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” tothoroughly implement the guiding principles of the Party Central Committee’s theme education work conference and Fujian Provincial Party Committee’s deployment and requirements on the theme education, as well as to arrange the Company’s theme education.

Mr. Gong Wu, deputy director of the Fifth Rounds Inspection and Guidance Group of Sinopec Party Group, attended the mobilization meeting and delivered a speech. Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Party secretary of the Company Party committee, chairman and the leadof the theme education leadership team, made a speech. The general manager and deputy secretary of Company Party committee and deputy lead ofthe theme education leadership team, Mr. Liu Xiangdong, presided over the meeting and put forward expectations for implementing the spirit of the meeting.

Mr. Zhao Baojie, member of the Fifth Rounds Inspection and Guidance Group of Sinopec Party Group, and Company management Mr. Zhang Xiguo, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Hu Hongye, MadamLi Siyang, Mr. Chen Feishan, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting. 

In his mobilization speech, Mr. Gu Yuefengcommented that it was necessary to profoundly understand the significance of conducting the theme education and unifying the thoughts and actions into the guiding principles of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping. The profound understandingand implementation of the theme education were urgent need to arm the whole Party with Xi Jinping's socialism with Chinese characteristics, to promote Party building in the new era, to maintain the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the people, and to realize the targets and missions set in the19^th National Congress.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng requiredthe Party organization toaccurately understand the targets and requirements of the theme education and ensure all the key measures to be fully implemented.

First, to thoroughly implement the general requirements of the theme education “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”.

Second, to firmly understand the targets of the theme education “to achieve fruitful theoretical study and political ideology, take responsibility to conduct work, solve problems for the people, set examples of correctness and integrity”.

Third, to implement the key measures of the theme education, weshallexert efforts on learning and education, in-depth investigation and research, problems inspection, rectification and implementation.We shall strictly conduct special rectification, make changes from details and set examples from the top down.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng emphasized that it was necessary to strengthen organization and leadership and earnestly pursue promotion of the both.

First, to strengthen responsibilities fulfilment. Under the guidance of the Rounds Inspection and Guidance Group of Sinopec Party Group, the Company’s “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” education was carried out under the leadership of the Party committee. The leaders and cadres shall not only perform self-education, but also set an example by taking the lead in research, study, problem identification and rectification.

Second, to strengthen supervision and guidance. At the Company level, we shall consciously accept the supervision, inspection and guidance from theRounds Inspection and Guidance Group of Sinopec Party Group, and all departments should be cooperative in each work. Party organizations at all levels shall strengthen supervision and guidance to the lower levels, provideclassified guidance, implement precise measures and carry out coaching and supervision in a strict and practical manner.

Third, to strengthen positive guidance. It was necessary to improve publicity, make good use of all kinds of media, compile and publish briefings in a timely manner, fully explain the significance, general requirements and objectives of the theme education, strengthen accurate interpretation to various requirements of the theme education, and reflect the progress in a timely manner to create favorable atmosphere for the theme education.

Fourth, to strengthen the pragmatic work style. It was necessary to resolutely prevent formalism and bureaucracy, and duplicate work requirements to avoid unnecessary work burdens to the basic levels. We shall adhere to the “practical” principle and work hard to manage all respects of the theme education and work in a pragmatic and solid manner.

Fifth, to strengthen overall planning and consideration. It was necessary to combine the guiding principles and requirements of the Party Central Committee, Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Sinopec Party Group to learn and understand, and to achieve integrated promotion and overall implementation.

Mr. Gong Wu conveyed the guiding principles of the Party Central Committee’s Theme Education Work Conference and Sinopec Group  Theme Education Mobilization Conference, introduced the duties and tasks of the Rounds Inspection and Guidance Group, and affirmed the preliminary work by the Company’s Party committee for the theme education.

He emphasized that the guiding principles of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping, from the strategic height of the Party and national undertakings, brilliantly discussed the great significance of the theme education, profoundly clarified its general requirements, objectives, tasks and key measures and strengthened the leadership of the theme education organization, clarified requirements for Party organizations at all levels to fulfill their responsibilities. It is a programmatic document to strengthen Party building in the new era and provides fundamental rules for the theme education.

He required the Company Party organization to firmly understand the fundamental tasks of theme education, conduct in-depth study and implement Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in new era in all aspects of the theme education.

Second, firmly understand the targets and requirements of the theme education: the general requirements of “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”, the goals“to achieve fruitful theoretical study and political ideology, take responsibility to conduct work, solve problems for the people, set examples of correctness and integrity”, the four key measures “focus on learning and education, investigation and research, problems identification and rectification and implementation throughout.

Third, firmly understand the work style required by the theme education, stand out against formalism and bureaucracy, practically establish realistic, conscientious and practical approach, conscientiously implement the requirements and ensuresolid results of the theme education with a good work style.

Mr. Liu Xiangdongrequiredthe Company Party organization to earnestly study and implementthe guiding principles of the mobilization meeting, unify the thoughts and actions to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and to promote the theme education in an orderly and efficient manner.

It was necessary to strengthen coordination, orderly advance and promote the Company’s annual goals and tasks with high-quality theme education.

Pay attention to effectiveness of the theme education, promotereform and developmentby theresults of the theme education, and test the effectiveness of the theme education with the results of reform and development, further enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Company’s Party building and lay a solid foundation for the Company’s high-quality development in the new era; secure a victory over comprehensive and sustainable development and the building of world-class company.
