In the afternoon of April 11^th, the Company held 2018 Innovation Day Awards Ceremony at the conference room of the exhibition hall.

Company management Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing attended the ceremony and presented trophies to the winners of the Innovation Day. They hoped to have more innovative “golden ideas” from the employees, and encouraged employees to contribute to the high quality development of the Company in new era.

The achievements of 2018 Innovation Day event fully demonstrated the innovation strength and achievements in key focus areas such as safety, reliability, optimization and improvement, cost reduction, market exploration and people management.

Company management thanked the participants, the winner and the working team of the Innovation Day event, and commented that the Innovation Day event was a good carrier and effective platform for employees to offer advices and suggestions to the key focus areas of the Company and continuous improvement of profit. The employees focused on and discussed management efficiency, reliability and margin improvement. They were willing to put forward ideas, proactively participated, took actions and made efforts, which demonstrated their wisdom and the healthy environment and positive energy in the Company. Their contributions were highly appreciated and recognized.

Company management hoped that the innovation work should base on the actual production and operation of the Company, be practical and close to the frontline of production, further improve management level and promote high-quality development of the Company. They looked forward to having more and better “golden ideas” in 2019, encouraged endless innovation from generation to generation, and turn the “golden ideas” to practical measures for driving the Company to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness and building and sharing FREP beautiful home.

At the ceremony, the honorary certificates were also presented to the winner representatives of the Implementation Award, Gold Craftsman Award, Gold Pen Award, Best Popularity Award, Community Contribution Award and Best BT Promotion Award.

Since 2018 Innovation Day event was launched, employees in the Company had been proactively contributing ideas focusing on key focus areas and work priorities. With the active participation, the Innovation Day Committee working team received total 1,140 ideas and presented 10 Edison Awards with first, second and third prizes; as well as Implementation Award, Gold Craftsman Award, Gold Pen Award, Best Popularity Award, Community Contribution Award and Best BT Promotion Award, which effectively encouraged the employees to compete in skills, enthusiasm and contributions with their technical strengths and wisdom, and effectively drive the company to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.
