On March 19^th, the 12^th meeting of the 2^nd session (enlarged meeting) of Company Labor Union was held in the Exhibition Hall. A total of 45 standing members of the Company Labor Union and the chairmen of primary labor unions attended the meeting.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, secretary of Company Party Committee and chairman of the Company, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. In his speech, he put forward three requirements. First, adhere to correct ideological guidance and promote the work of Labor Union in depth. Second, focus on the main objectives and tasks, and work on the development of employees steadily. Third, serve the staff wholeheartedly and share the development results of the Company with them.

He expected that Labor Unions at all levels and the Labor Union workers to keep pace with the times, develop and innovate, seek truth and be pragmatic, redouble their efforts, and unite and lead the employees to make more contributions for realizing the objectives and tasks of the company in 2019.

On behalf of the Company, Mr. Yang Hongbin, the deputy secretary of Company Party Committee, secretary of Company Discipline Committee and chairman of Company Labor Union, made a work report entitled “Loyal, Pioneering, United and Leading the Employees to Make Achievements in New Era."

Mr. Yang Hongbin briefly reviewed the work of Company Labor Union in 2018 in his work report. In the past year, under correct leadership of Company Party Committee and the upper Labor Unions, the Company Labor Union has been studying and implementing Mr. Xi Jinping's socialist thoughts capturing Chinese characteristics in new era and the guiding principles of the 19^th National Congress of CPC and the 17^th National Congress of China Labor Union, and persisted in Labor Union building driven by Party building, focused on the Company major tasks, united and led employees to forge ahead, made great efforts in safe production, strengthened operation management, enhanced quality and efficiency, completed the turnaround and played the role of driving force in achieving the Company's annual objectives and task and made contributions. The influence and cohesiveness of Labor Unions were further enhanced, and its role in serving the enterprise and employees became more visible.

In the report, it was clearly defined the overall requirements to the work of Labor Union in 2019: guided by Mr. Xi Jinping's socialist thoughts capturing Chinese characteristics in new era, study and implement the guiding principles of the 19^th National Congress of CPC and the 17^th National Congress of China Labor Union in depth, take the Party's political construction as the guide, bear in mind our original aspiration and missions “Love China, Vitalize Petrochemical Industry” and “Better energy for better living”, implement the requirements of Fujian Provincial Federation of Labor Unions and Sinopec Group Labor Union Working Committee. In accordance with the decisions and arrangements made at Company Party Committee Work Conference and the Company Annual Work Conference, with the main line of work for focusing on main objectives and tasks, serving the overall situation, getting close to the frontline and serving employees, we shall unite and mobilize all employees to maintain safe and environmental production through practical actions, continuously improve profitability and contributing the high-quality development of the company in the new era.

In the report, key tasks of 2019 were deployed. First, strengthen political construction, highlight the political nature of Labor Union work and its loyalty to the Party; second, strengthen workforce construction and highlight the advanced nature of Labor Union work; third, implement democratic management system and build harmonious enterprise; fourth, provide quality services for a better living of the employees; fifth, strengthen the building of Labor Union and play its role of “family and home of employees”.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng awarded Shift Team No. 2 of Fuels-2 BT the winning team medal for national “Ankang Cup” competition.

At the meeting, the financial work of Labor Union of 2018 was reported, and the advanced collectives and individuals of Labor Union and outstanding shift leads of 2018 were commended.

At the meeting, all members of the Company Labor Union were called on to be loyal, pioneering and proactive under the leadership of Company Party Committee and upper level Labor Unions, with strong support from OOP, to unite and lead the staff in realizing the annual objectives and tasks of the Company and drive high quality development of the company in the new era.
