On August 31, the company held 2021 TA/Revamp Kick-off Meeting and the Contractors' Commitment Letter Signing Ceremony in the Technology Hall. The intent of the meeting was to deploy the work of the upcoming turnaround and revamp event.

Company management Zhao Tianxing, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee attended the meeting.

Vice President Lin Xu chaired the meeting and delivered a speech. He said that safety was the basis of the turnaround and revamp event. FREP hoped to work with all contractors to implement the concept of “safety first” in leadership of management personnel, training of construction personnel and supervision of direct operations with a firm attitude and strong actions. We should comply with high standards and strict requirements and strengthen implementation to ensure successful completion of the turnaround and revamp tasks.

Vice President Neo Ee Ee publicized the concepts of HSSE, quality, schedule and cost of 2021 TA/ Revamp. She said that the turnaround and revamp event was an important task of the company in this year. Although we would face many difficulties and challenges, as long as we keep in mind the principle of safety, health and environmental protection first, give full play to the advantages of "one team, one goal", cooperate sincerely and make every effort, we would succeed.

Yang Pengfei, General Manager of Mechanical Department, publicized the Detailed Rules for 2021TA Main Contractors’ Assessment; Fu Junsong, Deputy General Manager of Mechanical Department, introduced the basic situations and work plans of 2021 TA/Revamp.

Representatives of contractors, Peng Fucheng, Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company, and Zhao Xiping, Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Tenth Construction Company, delivered speeches respectively. They said that they would strengthen service awareness, mobilize superior resources, attach great importance to safety, strictly control the projects, and make every effort to ensure on schedule start-up of the units.

At the meeting, Yang Pengfei, General Manager of Mechanical Department, on behalf of the company, signed the Commitment Letter on HSE, Quality and Schedule of 2021 TA/Revamp with the representatives of main contractors participating in the turnaround and revamp event respectively.

The company management, responsible people of relevant departments and primary management personnel of the contractors also signed the Letter of Commitment on Tasks and Responsibilities.

Vice President Zhao Tianxing made a concluding speech. He said that for turnaround and revamp event this year, the schedule was tight and the workload was heavy. All departments of the company and all contractors should fully understand the significance of the turnaround and revamp event, adhere to the concept of "one team, one goal", make concerted efforts and work hard to overcome difficulties, so as to ensure the smooth completion of the tasks of 2021 TA/Revamp.

He put forward four requirements to the contractors: first, stabilize the personnel, ensure the number of personnel and provide sufficient resources for the turnaround and revamp event. Second, strictly implement safety responsibilities, make full use of JHA, LMRA and other tools, fully identify risks in operations, implement control measures and remove potential risks. Third, allocate backbone resources, optimize management authority, mobilize the personnel and create a positive atmosphere for the turnaround and revamp event. Fourth, work together with FREP with one heart and one mind to build a high-quality project of turnaround and revamp.

In the end, Zhao Tianxing solemnly announced the Mobilization Order for 2021 TA/Revamp.

Management personnel of relevant departments and Business Teams of the company, and representatives of the contractors such as Sinopec Fifth Construction Company and Sinopec Tenth Construction Company, Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company and Fujian Industrial Equipment Installation Company also attended the meeting.
