On the morning of February 18, Gu Yuefeng, Chairman of the Board and secretary of the company Party Committee, went to the loading stations of polyolefin, oil products and EG to inspect the epidemic prevention and control work on the products loading site and the resumption of products delivery.

Gu Yuefeng visited the field office of Polyolefin Business Team, inquired about the production and operation, balance of production and sales of Polyolefin Unit in detail, and listened to the report of the responsible people of Polyolefin Business Team, HSE Security Group and Marketing and Sales Department, as well as the responsible people of Ruisheng Company for warehouse management.

Gu Yuefeng stressed that at present, the situation of epidemic prevention and control was still severe and complex, and unprecedented prevention and control measures had been taken everywhere. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly required that all units should resume production as soon as possible and ensure the completion of the economic and social development targets and tasks. The company must control the epidemic situation, and at the same time ensure good production and operation. Pay close attention to the downstream demand changes of refining and chemical products, and strengthen the connection of planning, production and sales. Strengthen communication with key customers. “Friends in need are friends indeed”. The time of emergency will test our customers. The company should make every effort to ensure the balance of production and sales, reduce the loss of capacity reduction, and make contributions to win the battle against the epidemic.

Gu Yuefeng commented that on the basis of effective epidemic prevention and control, the company should closely monitor the economic operation, focus on the impact of the epidemic on the production and operation of the company, make preparations in advance to deal with all complex and difficult situations, make people arrangements and production plans, ensure epidemic prevention and control and production and operation at the same time, and strive to achieve the annual tasks and targets.

Gu Yuefeng visited the polyolefin products storage yard and inspected the inventory of polyolefin products, remaining storage capacity, pallets and the work resumption of loading operators. When he learned that the business team have made every effort to find a temporary warehouse in the plant and increased the temporary storage capacity by more than 30K tons, he fully affirmed the spirit of overcoming difficulties and striving to make progress.

At the loading station of oil products, Gu Yuefeng was concerned about the delivery of oil products. He asked whether the delivery of gasoline and diesel had increased since the country exempted the highway toll and encouraged enterprises to resume production. The manager of Offsites Business Team introduced that the volume of gasoline and diesel lifting increased significantly in recent days, and the truck transportation of jet fuel was not affected by the epidemic.

Gu Yuefeng then visited EOEG loading station in the Petrochemical Industrial Park. As seeing the busy lifting vehicles and orderly loading on site without the sign of the impact by the epidemic, he praised the business team for its meticulous and solid work. At the site of EOEG loading station, he listened to the responsible people of Marketing and Sales Department to introduce the work arrangement, main difficulties and issues of the emergency sales of oil and chemical products during the epidemic prevention and control period.
