In the morning of November 27^th, the Company had the 2^nd round of on-site awarding ceremony for the turnaround contractor safety awards at the square of the old IPMT office area. More than 300 representatives from construction companies participated in the ceremony. President Mr. Joost Emmen, vice president Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and vice president Mr. Lin Xu were present at the ceremony.

In order to ensure safe, quality, efficient and on-time completion of 2018 turnaround, and to realize one-time successful startup, the Company set up the turnaround contractor safety award to reward the safety leadership of the maintenance personnel, encourage their positive HSE acts, create a good atmosphere for safety performance improvement, and further encourage the contribution of all participants to safety performance.

Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Mr. Lin Xu draw 9 first prizes and presented awards. They also had group photos with the winners of the first, second and third prizes.

Wang Weidong, the first prize winner, was the safety supervisor of Sinopec Tenth Construction Co. He said happily, “I have been working in construction and safety training in petrochemical industry for nearly 30 years. I always attach great importance to safety. This time for FREP turnaround, I observed the high standard and strict requirements from the owner on safety performance. FREP is highly responsible for the safety of construction personnel. I’m lucky to win the first prize, which is also the affirmation to my safety work. I will make persistent efforts for better performance. ”

It was reported that the Company set up four rounds of awarding during 2018 turnaround for those performed outstanding in safety, with 8 first prizes (Huawei mobile phone of 2,000 RMB each); 15 second prizes (souvenir of 800 RMB each); 20 third prizes (souvenir of 400 RMB each).
