On July 19^th, the Director of Quangang District Government Mr. Yan Chaohui, leading the heads of relative departments of Quangang District government, visited the Company. President Mr. Joost Emmen, warmly received Mr. Yan Chaohui and his delegation and had a meeting.

Mr. Joost Emmen said that in the past year, the Company has opened up new business processes such as diesel and jet fuel export, which has played a positive role in optimizing the allocation of raw materials, improving product slate and profit. And the import and export business has also been normalized, which was inseparable from the great support of local government, customs, finance department etc. He expressed heartfelt thanks to those authorities.

Mr. Joost Emmen pointed out that FREP locates in Quangang District, and the development of FREP was closely related to the support of local government. The Company always upheld the innovative concept and had been striving to improve profit, so as to benefit the local areas with development of enterprise and become a good neighbor of the community. Mr. Joost Emmen said that the Company, in response to the growing focus on environmental protection, had actively participated in the "Defending Blue Sky" campaign, and had successively carried out environmental protection renovation of product loading and storage environment. More environmental protection improvement projects would be launched one after another. The Company will adhere to high standards and conduct strict control, earnestly fulfilling the enterprise’s social responsibility and contributing to the protective of clean water and blue sky.

Mr. Yan Chaohui affirmed the efforts made by FREP to promote local economic development, and briefly introduced the economic operation of Quangang District in the first half of the year. He said that FREP was the most important family member of the Petrochemical Industry Park and played an influencing role in promoting local economic development. Based on Petrochemical Industry Park, FREP is expected to perform good job in development planning, expand the scale of investment, extend the industrial chain and make greater contributions to the local economy. He expected that the government and the enterprise could maintain regular communications, exchange needs, strengthen cooperation, give full play to the advantages of synergy, and achieve win-win cooperation between enterprise and local area.

At the meeting, the two sides actively and thoroughly exchanged views on issues of concern to the Company, such as production and operation, development planning and turnaround preparation, and reached extensive consensus.
