President Joost Emmen Attended Symposium of International Capital Investment in Fujian under Invitation

In the morning of May 18th, FREP President Mr. Joost Emmen, under invitation, attended the Symposium of International Capital Investment in Fujian held in Fuzhou City. The symposium was sponsored by Fujian People’s Government and organized by Fujian Department of Commerce and Fuzhou People’s Government, intending to show results of “new Fujian” construction, promote more opportunities of collaborative investment, leverage Fujian’s policy advantages of “overlapped multi special zones”, so as to form full-open circumstances.

Mr. Joost Emmen, an important guest of the symposium, made a speech titled Opening-up, Cooperation, Development and Win-Win, Build a World-class Petrochemical Base with Global Competitiveness. He expressed sincere appreciation to all levels of governments, authorities and social circles for their long-term supports. He shared in the symposium the operational achievements, management systems, concepts and proactive participation in the Belt and Road Initiative as well as actions of international market exploitation of the JV since establishment. In addition, he made analysis of energy reformation and future trend of petrochemical industry, noting that FREP will continue to refine and optimize the operation, to seek cooperation and win-win synergies with other upstream/ downstream enterprises, stick to Chinas path of Green Development with High Priority to Ecology and, moreover, build a smart company that can fully participate in the next stage of Digitalization, Networking, Visualization and Intelligence. Looking into the future, President Joost Emmen expects that FREP can obtain support, as always, from local governments and authorities and believed that, as long as governments and FREP could adhere to the concepts of Opening-up, Cooperation, Development and Win-win, the joint vision of building a world-class petrochemical base with global competitiveness would come true and make great contributions to the development of “New Fujian”.
