On March 12^th, the tanker CSC Amethyst, loaded with 41 KT diesel products, sailed from LYW Terminal and marched along the marine silk road to its destination: Chittagong, Bangladesh.

This was the first time that FREP exports diesel product to the overseas market, which marked a big step of the Company toward its vision of “to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness”. And the Company has written a new chapter of historical significance at the beginning of the new year.

In the morning, the Company held the export ceremony for the first ship of diesel at LYW Terminal. Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing, Director of Quangang District Government Mr. Yan Chaohui and the leaders from the customs, inspection and quarantine, immigration inspection and other units attended the ceremony. The Company's management personnel from Process Department, Technical & Planning Department, Marketing & Sales Department and other functional departments participated in the event.

Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf delivered a speech on behalf of the Company management. He said that since FREP started commercial operation, it had been committed to providing high quality products and services to the global market. The export of the first ship of diesel to the overseas market was a landmark. He sincerely thanked Quangang District government, the customs and the state inspection bureau and other government authorities for their care and support to FREP, as well as all employees working hard for the export of diesel product.

The director of Quangang District Government Mr. Yan Chaohui said that in last year FREP successfully exported jet fuel with full engagement and coordination of relative government authorities in Quangang District. FREP exported diesel product to international market in this time, contributing to the development of local economy. He put forward higher requirements for the service standards of relative government authorities in Quangang District, and expected that tailored service like “babysitter” can be provided, thusly support the development of the enterprise.

The first ship of diesel export was another success of the Company's various departments and efficient cross functional cooperation. It was also an important measure to improve the enterprise’s competitiveness and expand the market, and the FREP’s implementation of market-oriented development policy, which marked the normalization of the Company's product oil export business. In the next few years, there would be more products with “FREP” brand logo go out to the world, to expand influence and occupy a place in the international refining and chemical products market.
