In the morning of April 24^th, kick-off meeting for OIMS external assessment was held in Quangang office building. OOP members Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting. Members of the OIMS external assessment team from ExxonMobil attended the meeting.

The lead of OIMS external assessment team, Ms. Ee-Ee, briefed the OIMS external assessment, introduced the basis, objectives, tasks and other contents of the external assessment. She expected that positive support to the development of FREP could be provided through this OIMS external assessment.

Mr. Joost Emmen delivered a speech on behalf of the Company. He first warmly welcomed the external assessment team. He said that this was the first external assessment since the Company rolled out OIMS system in 2012. The vision of the Company was to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness. To achieve this goal, we must perform good in safety, environmental protection, health, which were also the foundation for the Company to be excellent.

Mr. Joost Emmen pointed out that OIMS was the foundation of the Company's management system, and we looked forward to receive supervision and inspection, learning from the assessment, drawing on the best practices and experience, and helping us further improve and develop risk management practices.

Mr. Joost Emmen made instructions that this external assessment was one of the top 10 activities of the Company in 2018. All departments of the Company should fully understand its importance and seize the opportunity to further improve the effectiveness of our OIMS management. All owners, administrators, employees and contractors shall provide accurate and complete information timely so as to create a favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of external assessment.

Mr. Joost Emmen expected that, under the guidance and help of the external assessment team, the Company would continuously strengthen the practice of internal supervision and risk management, and strive to build the Company into a world-class petrochemical Company.
