Deputy Director of Fujian NPC Standing Committee Mr. Zhang Guangmin Visited the Frontline Staff


Admist the standing columns and crossed pipe racks, the shining lights and glowing Milky Way flowing in the firmament were adding radiance and beauty to each other, and pumps and machines were singing, painting a grand sight of busy production of petrochemical enterprise at night.

At 19:00, January 2nd the first working day after the New Year Day, Mr. Zhang Guangmin, Deputy Director of Fujian NPC Standing Committee and the Chairman of Fujian Federation of Trade Unions, Mr. Ding Wenqing, secretary Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of Fujian Federation of Trade Unions, and Mr. Kong Fanjun, the member of Quanzhou Municipal Standing Committee, chief of Organization Department and Chairman of Quanzhou Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied by Mr. Yang Hongbin, the deputy secretary of Party Committee, secretary of Discipline Committee and chairman of Labor Union of FREP, visited FREP’s staff working at the production frontline, and expressed warm regards at the beginning of the new year.

At Zhang Zhaohong Labor Model Innovation Studio, Mr. Zhang Guangmin and his delegation met the national model worker Zhang Zhaohong who was in PPE. They asked him in detail about the studio’s innovation progress, and the difficult technical problems identified during production and operation.

Zhang Zhaohong Labor Model Innovation Studio was established in 2013, with a total of about 70 members, of which 2 are experts enjoying the special allowance granted by the State Council and 35 are Party Members. At present, the studio is set with 4 discipline groups, such as instrument, static equipment comprehensive maintenance, electrical and rotating equipment groups.

Mr. Zhang Guangmin fully recognized the achievements of Zhang Zhaohong Labor Model Innovation Studio, and expressed his expectations for the studio to keep innovative working concept, further develop the studio by performing practical work, give full play to their leading, demonstration and motivating role of the labor models, and at the same time, take care and provide service to the labor models in all respects as the spiritual guide.

Mr. Yang Hongbin said, we should conscientiously implement the comments of Zhang Zhaohong regarding the studio, build a good innovation studio, care more and publicize the performance of the labor models, thus to foster a good custom of “respecting, learning from, and striving to be labor model”.

On the table, a thick booklet attracted people’s attention. It was the collected papers compiled by the studio, consisting of dozens of papers about instrument operation as a collection of the wisdom of the front-line workers. And this was one of the achievements of the studio by driving the operation of the discipline groups. Since its establishment, the studio had achieved more than 150 innovations and profit-making, which not only improved the reliability of the equipment, but also created a precedent for problem solution. Among them, the calibration of the large machine set shaft inspection instrument probe carried out by the studio saved more than 450,000 RMB for the Company.

Zhang Guangmin leafed through the papers and said, "Through the mechanism of the master and apprentice, the spirit of labor model and the craftsman should be inherited. We should cultivate the common staff into technical backbones, turn the technical backbone into Party Members, and develop Party Members into the technical leaders. ”

 “Enable the employees to acquire practical and useful skills. With skills improved, they will be promoted, and thus they will in turn earn material rewards. Skills are the best red packets (gifts).” Mr. Zhang Guangmin said.

In CCR2, Mr. Zhang Guangmin and his delegation visited the busy staff on shift, and provided them with financial rewards.

Mr. Zhang Guangmin learned that FREP run in 4 teams and 2 shifts, so many employees work at night shift. He specifically mentioned the staff of Federation of Trade Unions to pay attention to the PPE and treatment of employees at night shift, to ensure their sense of gain and security.

As the New Year is approaching, Fujian Federation of Trade Unions will send 10 groups led by the responsible persons to travel across the province for sending support from the “warm home” to the frontline employees. (Xuan Wen)
