In the afternoon of February 13^th, the mayor of Quanzhou, Mr. Kang Tao, paid FREP a Spring Festival visit. The Company leaders Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing and Deputy Director of Quangang District Mr. Guo Ronghua accompanied the visit.

In CCR1, learned that many employees would give up family reunion during the Spring Festival to stick to their posts, Mr. Kang Tao, on behalf of Quanzhou municipal Party Committee and government, extended the Spring Festival greetings to employees working at the production frontline. He also congratulated the good results achieved by FREP in the difficult economic environment in last year. He pointed out that the petrochemical industry was an important pillar industry of Quanzhou city, and FREP was the leading enterprise of Quanzhou petrochemical industry cluster, which provided important support for Quanzhou’s economic development and industrial structure adjustment. He hoped that in the New Year, FREP would keep its stable development momentum to make greater contributions to the development of local economy. He requested that during the holiday period, the Company should make good arrangement of human resources, place key focus on key links, make more efforts on identifying potential hazards to ensure a smooth and safe production.

The Company management appreciated the visit of the leaders from Quanzhou Government and Quangang District Government. The Company would go all out to ensure safety production during the holiday period and create a good atmosphere for the Spring Festival. The Company would strictly comply with the new safety production law and environmental protection law, keep promoting quality and profit, be based in Quanzhou city, focus on the development of Quanzhou city, and actively fulfill social responsibilities, to be an “excellent corporate citizen” and a “good neighbor of communities”, and to benefit Quanzhou city and the society.
