Cooperation for Mutual Progress and Win-win Relationship - The Company held 2017 Chemical Customer Communication Session


On November 2nd, the Company held 2017 Chemical Customer Communication Session to enhance communications with the customers, exchange views on chemical industry development and explore closer cooperation in the future.

FREP Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Vice President Mr. Joost Emmen, and Operation General Manager Mr. Zhao Tianxing were present at the meeting. A total of about 100 participants including GMs/ DGMs of FREP Process Department, Marketing & Sales Department, Finance Department and Technical & Planning Department, relative BTMs and customers’ representatives attended the meeting.

With the passionate welcoming address made by Mr. Lin Xu, General Manager of Marketing & Sales Department, the meeting kicked off. In his speech, he recalled the ups and downs that FREP had gone over 10 years through since its establishment. The past ten years, he said, had been the ten year of the vigorous development of FREP, as well as the ten year of pioneering work and of cooperation for mutual progress and win-win. Through the whole journey of wind and rain, FREP and our customers had experienced the transformation from a cocoon into a butterfly. In the market ups and downs and great waves sweeping away sand, FREP had broken through brambles and thorns and stood fast in the storms together with our customers. Looking back to the cooperation between FREP and our customers, there was great trust and support from the customers; it was the customer’s choice that enable FREP to become more powerful with might redoubled for a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.

After that, all participants watched the short film of “10 Years’ Growth of FREP”.

The customers’ representative, Ms. Ma Yanli from Jiangsu Lishide Chemical Co., Ltd. recalled that on September 22nd, 2009, the ship loaded with 2,000 tons of benzene set sail from FREP’s terminal for Lishide Co.. Since then, FREP and Lishide Co. started the cooperation. She said with deep feeling, they are grateful to FREP because they had been expanding their business scale, benefited by stable and quality feedstock supply from FREP. Now, Lishide’s products are supplied to both domestic and overseas markets.

Mr. Fang Gang from Zhejiang Yisheng Petrochemical Co., Ltd, Mr. Xu Qi from Ningbo Zhuoyuan Trade Co., Ltd, the butadiene customer representative Ms. Guan Huaiqin from Shenhua Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd., and Mr. Liu Dewei from Fujian Jinlun Fiber Shareholding also delivered their speeches, sharing their cooperation with FREP. They said that the ten years of the development and growth of FREP was also that of their companies. Over the past ten years, the two sides had achieved mutual benefits and win-win and written a brilliant chapter together by sincere cooperation. In the future, the two sides would continue expanding areas of cooperation and achieve win-win, mutual creation and sharing, to write a new chapter in the next ten years.

At the meeting, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, on behalf of the Company, expressed gratitude to the customers for their participation. He said, year 2017 is the 10th anniversary of FREP, as well as the first year that the Company fully recovered the cumulative loss. The historical performance couldn’t be achieved without endeavor of FREP employees as well as every customer who had been advancing with us side by side. He said that in next year, FREP would continue adhering to the business concept of “customer first”, to provide quality products and services to customers, and to return every customer’s trust with our sincerity.

During the meeting, the Company also invited the customers to visit FREP exhibition hall, processing units and central control room, and arranged responsible engineers to accompany the customers and answer their questions regarding production and quality control, logistics and other questions interested by customers. In addition, the Company also actively shared safety management system and corporate culture with the customers, especially the Innovation Day, which was appraised a lot by the customers.

The participants came from 29 companies in Fujian, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other places, with their main businesses covering FREP main chemical products such as butadiene, paraxylene, pure benzene, C5, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, etc.

This event aims to strengthen the cooperation between FREP and the chemical sales partners, build good customer relationship and smooth communication channels, further consolidate customer relationships, lay a good foundation for next year’s sales contract negotiations, and take the opportunity to create a good social image of the Company, thus to improve the credibility and brand visibility of the Company in the industry, and explore potential customers.
