On April 13^th, Mr. Zhou Xinqian, Vice President of YASREF, together with Mr. Li Tao, Mr. Ghassan Al-suwayied from YASREF (YASREF is a joint venture of Saudi Aramco and Sinopec) visited FREP. FREP Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Operation General Manager Mr. Liu Yanchang welcomed and communicated with Mr. Zhou Xinqian and his delegation on relative topics.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng welcomed Mr. Zhou Xinqian and his delegation on behalf of the Office of President and briefly introduced the overall situation of production and operation in FREP. He commented that FREP and YASREF were two joint ventures with "blood relationship" as both invested by Saudi Aramco and Sinopec. As sister enterprises, FREP and YASREF may strengthen communication and learn from each other. He hoped to take this opportunity as the starting point to establish long term communication and strategic cooperation between the two companies, so as to achieve mutual benefits and win-win development.

Mr. Zhou Xinqian thanked FREP management for taking the time to meet them. He expressed that it was a great honor to have technical communication and exchange with FREP. He said, FREP as an integrated refining and chemical company jointly invested by Sinopec, ExxonMobil and Saudi Aramco, introduced advanced management experience and concepts from Chinese and overseas shareholders and made good achievements recognized in the industry in safety, reliability and people management. He hoped to make in-depth exchanges with FREP, learn from each other to jointly improve company management. He expressed that YASREF is willing to further deepen cooperation with FREP and join hands to contribute to the friendship between China and Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Zhou Xinqian and his delegation, accompanied by Process Dept. GM Mr. Zhao Tianxing and T&P Dept. GM Mr. Hussain Sughaiyer, visited the exhibition hall and the processing units as well as communicated in depth with relative personnel of FREP in production process optimization, energy consumption optimization, gross margin improvement, people management, performance appraisal, finance management strategies and others.
