From December 16^th to 18^th, the delegation of Sinopec Group Party Buildup Appraisal Team 7# visited FREP for appraisal on the company party building by multiple means i.e. listening to the Company party secretary’s report on work for party building, field examination, individual interview and checking documents and field inspection.

In the afternoon of December 16^th, FREP called the company party secretary report on work seminar. The chairman and president of FREP, Mr. Gu Yuefeng made welcome remarks.

The lead of the appraisal team Mr. Zhou Lin conveyed the spirit of Sinopec party building appraisal mobilization deployment and the requirement of Chairman and Party Group Secretary Mr. Wang Yupu. He indicated that Sinopec needs to promote the party organizations at all the levels to boost the awareness of party management and governance via inspection and appraisal, and implement the responsibility for party management and governance, make the party building strictly and practically, and promote healthy and continuous growth of enterprise; in order to appraise the party building, we need to look if party building is serving promoting function on key focus of production and operation, if management team are united and strong, if the work style and spirit of the organization are good, and if the party cadres are ethical and free of problem and the effect and performance of party building shall be examined by these.

The Company party secretary Mr. Chen Xiaobo made report of work on party building facing the members of management team and executives as party members and employee delegates; he objectively and practically summarized the works in the past year and accurately identified the existing issues and analyzed the causes, and drafted improvement measures targeting the issues. Mr. Chen Xiaobo said that strong sense of responsibility and mission is needed for strengthening and improving the party building with state owned enterprises. And further liberate the thinking and innovate thoughts while referring to the new requirement on comprehensive and strict governance of party, and practically perform the duties, solidly promote the company party building for new accomplishment.

The appraisal team made on the spot rating and scoring for the Company party building in 2016 and talent selection, and organized the quiz for “two studies and one action” knowledge,  and thoughts publicity and company culture questionnaire.

On December 17^th, the appraisal team called the administration party members and non party member employee seminar, grass-root party members and non party member employees seminar, as well as one to one interview between the appraisal team lead and the Company management members to understand the Company party building’s responsibility implementation, effect of party organization to exert the leading core and political core function, party branch exerting the function of fighting bastion, party members exerting the pioneering and model function and party building appraisal management.

The appraisal team visited EO/EG BT party branch and Technical & Planning Department Process Engineering party branch to understand in detail the grass-root party building progress by asking questions, reading the wall bulletin, doing interview and checking records. The appraisal team recognized EO/EG party branch who committed enough energy into party building with own thoughts, and the employee ideological education was good. The appraisal team recognized the Process Engineering party branch that had made solid party building efforts with deep integration and good performance. The team had deep communication on the practice and highlights of Process Engineering party branch that transmitted learning files to party members every morning, and the working model of central management of engineers, and engineers’ WeChat technical communicating group.

At the appraisal feedback meeting, the appraisal team highly commented that FREP party committee and party organizations at all levels are of strong political awareness and position consciousness and role awareness as highlights in six aspects while indicating the inadequacy in works and commented on recommendations for improvement. The Company party secretary Mr. Chen Xiaobo made remarks as a statement of attitude. He said that the Sinopec Group party building appraisal is a comprehensive physical check for the Company party building and offers profound directive meaning for the party building at the Company; the company party committee will seriously handle the identified issues, and apply the principle to other concerns, identify the causes, implement the measures for solid rectification; the Company will securely establish the idea of working for party in economic field, continue to work on the exploration and experience summary for party building in joint venture in order to make duly contribution for the internationalization of Sinopec.
